"Christopher Sergel's adaptation of Kurt Vonnegut Jr.'s story, provides us with a delightful look at community theatre, and actors in general," Philip Levien, director and workshop instructor, said of the play.

"For me, the overriding theme is that theater has a wonderful ability to transform lives. The lives of the characters you see on stage are immeasurably enriched by their membership in the fictional North Crawford Mask and Wig Club.

"By extension, so are the lives of their audiences.," he said. "I would argue that we are all changed by our visits to the theater: the chance to feel, the chance to reflect, and the occasion to laugh."
